Show us a musical instrument you wish you knew how to play.
Maybe I am weird, but I have always wished I could play the acoustic guitar- but I'd want to be able to sing along with it. (Not gonna happen!!)
And on the totally opposite end- I would love to be able to have fast and agile fingers to play the electric guitar! I think about my brother and uncle and how they used to play together and it amazes me at how good they really were! I was young so I had no idea- but wow! I could pump out a mean "One, two, Freddy's coming for you" from Friday the 13th back in the day, though! I guess that was all my brother had the patience to teach his little sister. I wish I could have him sit in the living room again playing all the songs he just learned, making me guess what they were. Among the most ironinc, Freebird and Stairway to Heaven. (The white guitar looks just like Danny's guitar...rermember it Lynn??)
So as a tribute to my brother- I want to learn how to play the Star Spangled Banner on the guitar- just the way he did :) I dont want to be just "ok" either- I want to make jaws drop ;)... (But also...not gonna happen! hahaha)
Sure you could! Seriously...why not? My father in law takes guitar lessons! Do it Krissy!
ReplyDeleteOh my god! Yes!! I remember that guitar!! HEy! I wonder what ever happened to that thing. Yeah I remeber he would always play stairway to heaven, I loved that! Now that song makes me cry. You should take some guitar lessons :)

ReplyDeleteI learned the intro to.. whatever my status said a while ago on facebook hahaha. Its kinda easy! I tried learning stairway to heaven but my teacher was a creeper haha.
