Rookie

I am going to the Bon Jovi concert tonight... and guess what? It will be my first "real" concert that I have ever been to :) How pathetic is that? I have been to little ones at the State Fair (Molly and the Heymakers...ahahahahahaha) and then a free one at Summerfest in Milwaukee- that one was Silverchair. But that day, I was so crabby that I wound up leaving because people were making me soooo mad...well, that and the fact that I dont smoke- but everyone around me was, and I was getting the worst damn headache...

anyway- I am really excited to go. I cant wait to hear what songs he does tonight. I feel bad though that I am leaving the kids again. I have gone to 3 different things this month- all on weeknights. The good thing is that Jake doesnt have to go out of town today so he will be home with the boys :) I was worried for whoever babysat and had to put the 3 of them to bed alone for the first time ever. It makes me feel a little better that Andy is off from school on Friday and it is the start of his spring break, so I will be able to spoil my 3 little bears the whole week :)

I am such a rookie at this...I dont even know if people sit or stand...do they dance? I sure as he** wont dance because I have no rythem. I guess I will wait and see what a real concert is all about. I am almost 30 and finally going to my first concert. I am so deprived. :)

  1. Too bad your first concert is Bon Jovi...kidding. Anyway, for the most part people do stand. However, I went to The Killers last year and everyone in my section sat. It was really bizarre. Have fun tonight. :)

  2. I am SO jealous!  I would love to see Bon Jovi...and I have heard that their concerts are awesome!  If they play Shot Through the Heart...sing it extra loud for me okay?

I say do what you want...if you feel like dancing, dance.  Screw everyone else! And yes, you can dance...I remember!!!

    Have fun!!!

  3. How was the concert?  Did Jon Bon Jovi look hot?  Did you dance all night?  Did you throw your panties on the stage?  Hee hee!

  4. haha... The concert was lots of fun! And I would say for someone who is whatever age he is, he aged well :) He looks better now than he did in the 80's...he is like fine wine- gets better with age! And for the sake of every one I was with and everyone sitting by us, I kept the panites on (this time...ahahahah- yeah, right). We were upper deck so I could have never thrown them that far anyhow!  I had a great time though :)
