Like I was saying...

So I thought I'd answer the QOtD simply and make a seperate post to get off the subject like I am so good at. Yep. Little Andy on his first overnite ice fishing trip with Daddy.  We will see how he does. He gets cold so easy- I am worried he will whine the whole time...but since he is up there with the "Guys" he might put on a big boy front...so we will have to see. I dont think he realizes that it is cold and snowy up there right now,  since we usually only go in the summer and that is all he knows of the cabin - the nice warm summer with campfires and all that. The cold weather isnt stopping them from grilling out on the lake though :) Men are weird. (Actaully- it kind of sounds fun)

Justin on the other hand, is pretty bummed that he didnt get to go...even though we didnt say where they were going or he'd be totally broken-hearted. Just me and my 2 little-ist boys tonight :) Here is what my day is like... I am off to meet Alexis and give those little baby girl snuggles I have been dying for. My grandma is watching Justin and Ryan for a while so I can go do that. Then to mend Justin's double broken heart (not only did he see dadddy and big-brother leave together, he also didnt get to go in the water at swimming lessons today...but thats a whole different post), I promised to bring him to a pool in the area that has a waterslide and all that fun stuff.  Grandpa Mike is coming to watch Ryan so I can give Justin my complete and undivided attention. I am so excited. Heis such a thrill seeker- he is just going to light up.

Of course, Ryan is indifferent since he just doesnt know whats going on yet :) He will be happy as could be to see great grandma and then get to see grandpa again!

My only request was that the boys take lots of pictures up there for me. We'll see how that goes. Guys on MAN trips dont exactly go along with camera requsts from picture crazy mommies. I can hope for one atleast :)

As for the pool...this is the second week in a row that some middle schooler has thought it is hilarious to put pieces of poop in the pool so lessons are cancelled. Grow up - really people. I guess it has happened everyday this week so far. Ummm...let's be proactive and catch them them...be smarter than the middle schooler people. Last week they cancelled classes- this week they moved them to the Junior High pool which is kept at a whopping 69 degrees. They wouldnt let the preschoolers in- so Justin was absolutely crushed. He got a lecture on water saftey and what the tag meant on the inside of a life jacket. Not comparable to swimming if you ask me. The older kids could go in...but Andy sat on the edge the whole time since they made such a big deal out of the COLDNESS of the pool. The kid was brainwashed. Oh well. Hopefully next week- things are different. I think I want to go through somewhere else for the next session. This has been soooo un-organized right from the get go and now this. Ugh.
