I have been trying to help my sister find a kitten for a couple of days. She has called tons of pet stores who say they dont have them, but that they will be getting some soon. It is out of season for getting kittens.

Maybe I am just not up on my cat facts...but I never thought there was a season for cats.
She has been able to find some places that have older cats, but they either dont like kids or dogs...and she really wants a kitten. Who would have thought that they were so hard to find. I thought cats were everywhere.
Oh...wait- she did find someone who was getting cats in today...but they were $400.00. For a cat?? Really?
