I am just not in the mood to write on this thing lately. I am just stalling to make sure Justin and Ryan are sleeping beofore I go and try to clean up my scrapbook room. I hate working in there when it is over run with tools, dust from putting knobs on the cabinets...and the paper that I have out all over the place instead of put away where it belongs... The whole point of that room is to have a nice place to go work- so I am going to try a little bit today to get it as close to that as I can.
So... in as few words as possible I will say:
1. We are looking at getting a new car. Hopefully we will get rid of BOTH other vehicles this time around. (Not the van, but the two others that dont work the best) Just to have 2 good vehicles would be great. No more... no less.
2. Andy taught himself how to ride a two wheeler a couple of weeks ago. Now he is getting wild and crazy and giving me heart failure with his craziness everyday on his bike. I might have already said this on here, but like I said... I am just passing the time right now.
3. We had Andy's friend from school over to play yesterday (and his little brother). That was fun. It made the day go faster. I love it that he has school friends who live in the neighborhood. BUT this kid is giong to a different school for 1st grade, so that is a bummer. Atleast he still lives close though.
4. I cant believe school is getting so close. And I cant believe that Justin will be going to preschool a couple of days a week this year too. Ryan will get some one on one time that he has never had before.
5. Andy's b-day is coming up and we are going to bring him to the Twins game for it. He is totally in to baseball this year...it is cute :)
6. I am easily irritated lately
and 7... my kids (Ok, only Justin) still wont sleep. ugh.

ReplyDeleteFirst I know what you mean with this thing, it is sometimes hard to get motivated to write. Second it was so fun seeing you guys at Grandpa's last night, we should get together more often, you are just so sweet and fun to talk to!!

2. Ok I know EXACTLY how you feel about this one, my husband grew up on a farm so I am right now dealing with dirt bikes and go carts and I cannot decide weather I like the pedal ones or motorized ones better!!
3. We are having Carters sleepover birthday party tomorrow, pretty soon you will have other kids over there all the time, but it is so cute when they have friends over for the first time, they think that they are such hot shit and it is so cute!!
4. I know.... where in the hell did this summer go?!?! I am going to have that same situation at my house this year too, Devon will be in 5th grade, Carter in 2nd grade and Reese will go to K every other day all day, so maybe we will have to meet for lunch or something while we only have one kid to deal with:)
5. Andy told us last night that you guys are going to Valleyfair for his birthday!!! Have fun at the game!!
6. I am sorry about that, hopefully it is not going to last too long for you!! Maybe you need to get out and have some wine!! Us a deck or pontoon and some blue bottles of wine:)
7. none of mine sleep either, wtf is up with that madness?? Actually Devon has started staying up late and sleeping until like 10 or noon everyday, gotta love the pre teen :)

You are so funnny :) I had a great time last night too! We should be able to make it more often now that Andy's T-ball is over with...it was on Thursday nights from 6-7 so it was tough to make it!
ReplyDeleteAs far as the car thing goes...we are looking at a focus or a fusion (ford) since they get metter gas mileage and Jake has a longer drive to work. It will mostly be Jakes car and then our car for running to the store wtih and stuff like that- instead of always taking the van :)
I hope Carter had a great B-day, and I hope Molly is having a grat one today too :) AndI love the idea of getting together when we have just one kid...that almost seems like nothing, huh?? Just one- easy!!!
Andy is full of dreams for his birthday :) He wanted to go to ValleyFair, but now we are taking him to the Twins Game. I am not sure whcih one he'd rather do?? I want to have a party for him, but I am so not motivated...and he is 6?? Should a kid get a big friend b-day every year?? I will prob. do something simple here for his friends, or let him pick one to bring to ValleyFair :)
LOVE the idea of the blue bottle of wine on the boat...or anywhere for that matter! Seriously, let's do that sometime! really!!
I wish mine would sleep in- I am not a morning person. In a way I am glad they get up early though, otherwise I'd get up too late and be mad that the day is wasted away! If we could just get to bed early...
and it was a bummer- when I got home ther ewas a message that my firends baby wasnt feeling great and didnt take a nap...so we didnt scrapbook last night. But we are going to Archivers hopefully Monday and we will scrapbook next week...so I have more organization time now :) Maybe I'll get more done this way!
