I am going crazy trying to thread this sewing machine!!!! I have looked online at directions and they dont have directions for specific types of machines...unless you want to buy them. I think I have it right...but I cant get the bobbin to catch. I took home-ec...why is this so hard??? Does anyone know how to do thread a stupid sewing machine??? I have done everything that 5 different websites have said to do. This is making me cranky. :(
I just reread this and probably think you already tried this site. My advice, although I am terrible with bobbins, is to hold the thread loose and slowly move the needle down manually. I do it really slowly and tt usually takes me a million tries and a lot of frustration, but keep at it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I didnt see that website yet. It was more detailed than some of the other ones I found. Maybe I am just not menat to use a sewing machine. I can never thread the things. I will print these out and follow them step by step and cross my fingers!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI usually have to have Ben help me. I'm bad with machines.
ReplyDeleteThat is way too funny- I am the same way. Jake is good with machines...I am not! I am not mechanically inclined :) Thankfully he is...even with sewing machines. He can figure out the way it ws engineered and how the things were supposed to work. I just try to force things where they dont belong and usually want to go at the thing with a bat after a while!!!! Hahahahaha I feel pretty dumb that my husband can thread a sewing machine better than me. Maybe I will have him do it...even though I wanted to do it myself just out of pride :)
